Having successfully completed a Basic Massage Course for Physiotherapy Assistants at the Elisabeth Jones Therapy Centre, Basingstoke in October 2002 and attending Mid-Kent College, City Way, Rochester, Kent and gaining a Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy in 2004 Melanie felt it was time she began using her knowledge and skills by encouraging people to understand and benefit from a more holistic approach to receiving treatment for a variety of muscular ailments. Aided by clear anatomy illustrations which Melanie uses to help explain where a problem may lie, what structures may be involved, and what type of work is proposed, Melanie feels client education can be a powerful tool in facilitating wellness and so help restore healthy functions to muscles and joints.

Since 2002 Melanie has worked locally in the Physiotherapy Department at Medway Maritime Hospital, Gillingham, Kent.
